Hello, I am Anja Natasha Schroeder.


My fierce and compassionate dedication to yoga inspires and holds space for participants to journey deeper into the body, heart, mind, and spirit than they ever could have imagined.  I am ever formulating and evolving a meaningful yoga curriculum to serve yoga enthusiasts. 

For me, the journey to finding peace and learning how to channel my inner energy better using yoga started about 20 years ago. At first, I turned to yoga because I had a back injury. However, I discovered quite quickly that much more than fitness and agility, yoga can calm the mind, provide more stability in times of difficult life situations and also strengthen the mind. It was an amazing and fulfilling experience, one that is worth having again and again. So, I decided to teach people how to have this same spiritual, yet inexpressible experience too. Since then, I have been consistently practicing yoga. I did my official yoga teacher training 3 years ago with Jordan Bloom, and have practiced with many experienced teachers from different parts of the world. 


Belief 

I believe that yoga goes beyond being just mental, physical and spiritual exercise. Yoga is a way of life. It is a philosophy; a philosophy that will give you a better perspective to life generally. 


Services 

I teach Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flows and Yoga Nidra. My yoga routine finds a perfect balance between having a powerfully energizing effect on you and being gentle and meditative to give you the best relaxation and refreshment feeling while also giving you utmost fitness and agility at the same time, with a major focus on strengthening your body and mind through the use of breathing exercises. 


About Breathe and Retreat

Breathe and Retreat Yoga is the serene place for quality yoga sessions that will leave your spirit uplifted and your mind optimally focused all times. I am offering a yoga retreat on a sailing ship in the Greek Aegean Sea, in September 2019. I hope to get a one week opportunity on the sailing ship yoga retreat to work with participants - teaching them to let go, to breathe deeply and recharge their batteries and to reconnect with their inner selves ultimately. Of course, the winds, the waves and the power of the Aegean creates the ideal setting for such an experience; where you can throw your everyday worries behind and have a real connection with your true self.
